Juventus, Leverkusen Reportedly Pursue Chelsea Winger Sterling
Raheem Sterling, currently under contract with Chelsea until 2027, is attracting transfer interest from several European clubs, notably Bayer Leverkusen and Juventus. Sterling, who spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Arsenal with limited impact—registering two assists in 17 Premier League appearances—has been excluded from Chelsea's first-team plans under manager Enzo Maresca. Despite being part of Chelsea's 'bomb squad' and training separately, Sterling remains focused on his career and has not yet received any formal transfer proposals. Bayer Leverkusen, newly managed by Erik ten Hag, who previously sought to sign Sterling at Manchester United, is particularly keen to secure his services. Chelsea has set a valuation of approximately $27 million (around £20 million) for Sterling's transfer. The player's future at Chelsea appears uncertain as multiple clubs monitor his situation, with a potential move to the Bundesliga gaining traction.
