Macy's 99th Thanksgiving Parade To Air Nov. 27

The 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will take place Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, airing live at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBC and Peacock with an encore later in the day. The broadcast will be hosted by Today anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker and is expected to draw more than 50 million viewers nationwide. Organizers say the Herald Square parade will involve more than 5,000 volunteers and feature marching bands, specialty units, 20-plus floats, dozens of giant character balloons — including Buzz Lightyear, Super Mario, Pac-Man and Shrek’s onion carriage — and musical acts such as Busta Rhymes, Ciara, Jewel, Kool & The Gang and Shaggy alongside Broadway performances. The Radio City Rockettes will mark their 100th anniversary, and parade producers say updated floats and new balloon technology, including moving faces and waving arms, are meant to create a theater-like experience. Balloons were unveiled during recent test runs in New Jersey and at MetLife Stadium, and the event will conclude with Santa arriving at Macy’s Herald Square.
