In Oro Valley, Arizona, The Picklr will open a 30,000-square-foot indoor venue by March 2025, addressing the local demand for more playing space amidst hot weather conditions. Meanwhile, Beaufort County, South Carolina, is set to unveil four new courts at Southside Park in December, expanding its public pickleball offerings. Costa Mesa, California, recently converted two tennis courts into eight pickleball courts at the Tennis Center, reflecting the growing demand in the area. In Mahomet, Illinois, preliminary plans for new courts at 13 Acres Park are underway, although construction is still some years off. Additionally, Cherokee County, Georgia, has opened three new courts at the Lakeside community, further demonstrating the sport's rapid growth and widespread appeal.
