Former Fox Sports Reporter Sues Executive Over Sexual Assault Allegations

Former Fox Sports reporter Julie Stewart-Binks has filed a lawsuit against the network and executive Charlie Dixon, alleging that he sexually assaulted her in 2016 and subsequently retaliated against her career. The lawsuit details an incident where Dixon allegedly pressed her against a wall and forcibly kissed her after inviting her to his hotel room under the guise of discussing a Super Bowl assignment. Stewart-Binks claims Fox Sports failed to take appropriate action after she reported the assault, instead protecting Dixon, which she argues perpetuated a culture of abuse within the organization. This lawsuit follows a similar claim made earlier by another former Fox hairstylist against Dixon. Fox Sports has stated that they previously conducted a third-party investigation into the allegations but did not disclose the findings. Stewart-Binks seeks damages for emotional distress and advocates for stronger workplace protections to prevent future incidents.
