Former NFL Player Don Bosseler Dies at 88
Don Bosseler, an All-American fullback and College Football Hall of Fame inductee, passed away at the age of 88 in Atlanta. He was a pivotal player for the University of Miami, leading the team to a No. 6 ranking in 1956 and finishing his college career with 1,642 rushing yards, the second-highest at the time. Drafted ninth overall by the Washington Redskins in 1957, Bosseler played eight seasons, rushing for 3,112 yards and 22 touchdowns, and earning Pro Bowl honors in 1959. His legacy includes being named one of Washington's 80 Greatest Players and being inducted into multiple sports halls of fame.
