The Black Keys Confirm August 8 No Rain, No Flowers Album

The Black Keys, the Ohio rock duo of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, have announced their 13th studio album, 'No Rain, No Flowers,' set for release on August 8, 2025. The album, self-produced at their Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville, features collaborations with esteemed songwriters Rick Nowels, Daniel Tashian, and legendary keyboardist/producer Scott Storch, marking a shift toward a lighter, more summery sound compared to their previous work. The band emphasized their deliberate approach to songwriting, aiming to work directly with acclaimed songwriters to craft the album's eclectic and groove-driven style, influenced by their popular Record Hangs dance parties. The title track, released as the third single following 'The Night Before' and 'Babygirl,' showcases a breezy and airy vibe that departs from their blues roots. The Black Keys will support the album with an extensive tour starting in May 2025 across North America and Europe, including outdoor shows in the UK. Despite previous setbacks with canceled US tour dates and management changes, the duo views this album as a labor of love reflecting their renewed creative energy.
