Evri, DHL Merge UK E-commerce to Form Parcel Giant

Evri and DHL eCommerce UK are merging to form one of the largest parcel and letter delivery firms in the UK, handling over one billion parcels and one billion letters annually. Under the new Evri Group umbrella, the combined company will employ more than 30,000 couriers and van drivers alongside 12,000 additional staff, with DHL acquiring a significant minority stake while Apollo remains the majority shareholder. This merger enables Evri to enter the UK business letter market for the first time, intensifying competition with Royal Mail and expanding import and export capabilities. The deal will integrate Evri’s scale and innovation with DHL’s premium van delivery network, branded as Evri Premium, which will provide fast, secure deliveries for high-value and large items.
