Zelenskyy Accuses China of Lacking Will to End Russia-Ukraine War

Zelenskyy criticized China for warmly hosting Putin and engaging in discussions unrelated to ending the war, highlighting Putin's belief in support from authoritarian states like China, Iran, and North Korea. He stressed the importance of maintaining Russia's isolation through sanctions and political pressure, while urging the U.S. and Europe to sustain their focus and support for Ukraine. Zelenskyy called for a coordinated effort from global allies to motivate China to leverage its economic and political ties with Russia to stop the aggression. The president questioned who, if anyone, would be willing to 'buy forgiveness' for Russia’s ongoing war, underscoring the urgency of international action to halt the conflict.
