Ten protesters have been charged for failing to disperse during a May 15, 2024, pro-Palestinian protest at the University of California, Irvine, which was declared an unlawful assembly by police. Among those charged are four UCI students and two professors, with charges including failure to disperse and resisting arrest. The Orange County District Attorney's Office is still reviewing evidence against an additional 40 individuals arrested during the same protest.
