Gus Malzahn Named FSU Offensive Coordinator

Gus Malzahn has stepped down from his position as head coach at UCF to become the offensive coordinator at Florida State University (FSU), following a disappointing 4-8 season with the Knights. Malzahn's hiring comes as FSU ranks last in the nation in total offense, following multiple staff changes under head coach Mike Norvell, who has a history with Malzahn dating back to their time at Tulsa. Despite his struggles at UCF, where he had a 28-24 record, Malzahn boasts a strong background, including a national championship with Auburn in 2010.
