Dollywood Kicks Off 35th Smoky Mountain Christmas With Six Million Lights, Community Events

The event includes beloved shows like “Christmas in the Smokies” at Celebrity Theater and “Heidi Parton’s A Christmas To Remember,” alongside other Christmas classics, making it a cherished tradition that attracts families year after year. Recognized as one of the best holiday theme park events, Dollywood has won the Golden Ticket award 15 times and is currently nominated for USA Today's 10Best Best Theme Park Holiday Event, with voting open through December 1. The park celebrates the season with additional attractions such as Santa's Smoky Mountain cabin, the Dollywood Express train, and weekend fireworks shows during the festival. Community engagement continues with Sevier County Days, offering local residents discounted entry benefiting area nonprofits.
