Five Dead in Midtown Manhattan Park Avenue Shooting

On July 28, 2025, a mass shooting occurred at 345 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, a skyscraper housing major firms including Blackstone, Bank of America, KPMG, and the NFL’s global headquarters. The gunman, identified as 27-year-old Shane Devon Tamura from Las Vegas, entered the building armed with an AR-15-style rifle and body armor, killing at least five people, including an off-duty NYPD officer, before dying by suicide.
