Two Arrested for Vandalizing Hollywood Hills Mansion
Two individuals, Jacob Smith and Thomia Fagan, have been arrested in connection with the vandalism of an abandoned Hollywood Hills mansion owned by John Powers Middleton, son of a Philadelphia Phillies co-owner. The mansion, located on Mulholland Drive, has long been a target for graffiti artists and squatters, creating significant community concerns. Los Angeles police officers, responding to reports from residents, apprehended the suspects shortly after they fled the scene in a Mercedes-Benz. The investigation revealed that the suspects defaced the property with spray paint and were found in possession of several spray cans and a loaded unregistered firearm. Middleton has apologized for the state of his properties and promised increased security measures. Both suspects are being held without bail and face various charges related to vandalism and firearm possession.
