Hallmark Expands Holiday Franchise With Halloween Movie Featuring Halloweentown Stars
Hallmark Channel is expanding its popular Haul Out the Holly movie franchise with a Halloween-themed installment titled Haul Out the Halloween, set to premiere this fall. The movie reunites original stars Lacey Chabert, Wes Brown, Melissa Peterman, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Ellen Travolta, and adds new neighbors Luna and Marvin, played by Disney Channel's Halloweentown alum Kimberly J. Brown and her real-life husband Daniel Kountz. The story follows the Evergreen Lane community as they embrace Halloween festivities for the first time, organizing spooky contests, decorations, and a carnival to raise funds for a local charity, while Emily (Chabert) rediscovers the joys of the holiday she shared with her late grandmother. Chabert, who also serves as an executive producer, expressed excitement about working with longtime friends Brown and Kountz and praised the fun, festive atmosphere of the film. The crossover between Hallmark and Disney Channel stars has generated enthusiasm, especially among fans familiar with Brown and Kountz's Halloweentown legacy. While no exact release date has been announced, the movie is expected to debut in October as part of Hallmark's seasonal programming.
