John Butler Announces Solo Album PRISM, UK Tour Dates

John Butler, the Australian roots-rock musician, is set to release his tenth studio album, PRISM, on September 5, marking a significant solo career milestone as he moves away from the John Butler Trio name. The album, created in collaboration with producer James Ireland, blends Butler’s percussive guitar style with a full-band sound and explores a wide emotional and sonic range including themes of love, death, politics, and redemption. The lead single, "So Sorry," reflects on the complexities of long-term relationships and personal growth. PRISM is the third part of Butler's ambitious Four Seasons project, following two prior albums released in 2024, and features a mix of festival anthems, rock, and ballads.
