Gunman Dies After Killing 10 in Montenegro
Aco Martinovic, a 45-year-old gunman, killed at least 12 people, including two children and several family members, in a shooting spree in Cetinje, Montenegro, following a bar brawl. After the attack, which left four others seriously injured, Martinovic died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound while being transported to the hospital. The police reported that the violence occurred at multiple locations, with Martinovic targeting victims in the bar and then continuing his assault elsewhere. Interior Minister Danilo Saranovic described the shooter as more dangerous than organized crime members, highlighting the brutality of the attack. The Montenegrin government has declared three days of national mourning in response to this tragedy. Investigations are ongoing, with the police confirming that Martinovic had a history of violent behavior and appealed a conviction for illegal possession of weapons.
