Andy's Frozen Custard will enter the Derby market with a new drive-thru location that boasts a unique design different from its other metropolitan sites. In Lauderhill, the Ice Cream Pit is preparing to open with a car-themed concept that blends premium ice cream with automotive culture, aiming to be a family-friendly gathering spot. Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is rapidly expanding after raising venture capital, planning 29 new shops in 2025 and aiming for 100 locations, including a debut in Chicago, while also pursuing international franchising. Lastly, Loveland will welcome Boozee Treats, an alcohol-infused ice cream shop transitioning from a home-based business and food truck to a brick-and-mortar location, filling the space left by a closed Baskin-Robbins and offering a novel twist on ice cream treats.
